Vinyl album news

"Vinyl" has finally been given the release date of 4th March in time for the release of the film on the 15th. It will feature a collection of new Alarm tracks composed specifically for the film and is described as being "a clutch of power pop punk songs which all clock in at under three minutes".

The album will be preceded by the "Free Rock & Roll" EP which features Phil Daniels singing alongside Mike...hopefully this may get some decent airplay...who's up for a fan radio request campaign nearer the time?

James solo album update....

We couldn't wait for more info on James' upcoming solo album so we asked him for some more info to whet our appetites!

"All I can say is it's turning out better than I ever could have dreamed - mostly because producer Pete Walsh is a genius and fantastic contributions from Glen Matlock, Steve Norman, Pete Rizzo, Geoff Dugmore, Chris Bell, Criag Adams, Barriemore Barlow, Maggi Ronson, Tracie Hunter, Elizabeth Westwood and of course Mark Taylor who relentlessly kicked me up the ass to do it!"

Now if that doesn't get you excited I don't know what will!
