The last of the Isle Of Wight warm up shows and slightly shorter than normal due to having to get moving to travel to the water logged festival. The Mission Triple Bill Venue Changes

The triple bill tour featuring The Cult, The Mission and Killing Joke have changed some of the venues being played (the day and cities are unaffected) and a new date at Manchester has been added. The new details are...

11th - Metro Radio Arena NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
12th - O2 Academy SHEFFIELD
14th - Arena MANCHESTER
15th - O2 Academy BIRMINGHAM
16th - HMV Hammersmith Apollo LONDON

Tickets are still available from the usual agencies however due to some of the venue changes may now be harder to come by so best be quick if you are intending to attend any of what promise to be great shows!

Ben Nevis Rocks details and Amazing LHS Auction

The details for the Ben Nevis climb and concert have now been announced. Their will be an acoustic concert on Friday 24th August at the Inverlochy Castle before moving indoors at the BA Club in Fort William. The concert itself will feature sets by The Alarm as well as Bruce & Jamie Watson of Big Country before they come together to play a set of tracks by both bands. This replaces the previously advertised event as Mike races off to Holland for his appearance at the Pink Pop Festival.

Now the bad news for climbers....the LHS fund raising climb on Saturday 25th is now due to start at 5a.m.!!! OUCH! Mike will play a set at the summit (weather permitting) with guests at approximately 9.30a.m.

AMAZING LHS AUCTION

This is one hell of a prize for one VERY lucky person so be prepared to dig deep for this truely once in a lifetime opportunity......

The winner gets to travel with Mike Peters, Bruce & Jamie Watson from Ben Nevis to Inverness Airport where you will board a private charter to Holland (therefore you will need a valid passport and travel insurance) to watch Big Country play at the Pink Pop Festival. If that wasn't good enough you then get to travel back on the Big Country Tour Bus to see the headline appearance at the Solfest in Cumbria. You will have to find your own way back from there back you can invite 3 friends to share your experience at the Solfest.

Big Country @ The Hard Rock Cafe (London)

Big Country are to play an intimate gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in London on June 11th but don't get too excited...tickets will be on a win only basis via either the official Big Country site http://www.bigcountry.co.uk/ or via competitions on Absolute Radio. This could be one of the most exclusive and coolest gigs the band have ever played....if you do get to attend it let us know! Not that we would be at all jealous!
