Big Country AND Mike Peters solo set added for M Fest

We've been watching this one closely to see if the Morrisons sponsored M Fest would have an Alarm connection other than the previously announced appearance of former Pistol and Dead Man Walking Glen Matlock. This morning our patience has paid off with not only the addition of Big Country to the bill on the Saturday night but also an acoustic appearance from Mike Peters on the Sunday.

M Fest was the brainchild of Steve Norman (Spandau Ballet) who many would have seen during Mike's acoustic tour last year or joining The Alarm at this years Gathering. Steve got talking to Morrisons chef Nigel Haworth about all things music and food and it was after appearing with Mike that the idea of a Festival celebrating both sparked. As Steve says "Imagine a Festival that combines Britain's passion for great music with Morrisons passion for great food...a gathering to feed body and soul, a feast for the senses."

M Fest takes place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July at Harewood House in Leeds with tickets priced at £49.50 for each day or £95 for the weekend. Childrens tickets (11 - 16) are available priced at £25 daily or £47.50 for the weekend with under 10s getting free admission if with a paying adult. Camping is also available as are VIP ticket upgrades all from http://www.themfest.com/tickets

The whole bill is a strange one but with some very big name acts with many more still to be announced. So what we have so far is....

We don't know if James Stevenson will be appearing with Glen Matlock at this festival as he has in the past but we will update you if/when we can confirm either way!
