Declaration comes to Norway

New Declaration dates have been announced for Norway where Mike will be playing a total of 8 dates in May.

Otley gets second date

The original Declaration date in Otley has now sold out but if you did miss it, or just fancy seeing a second show, an additional date has been added at Korks on Thursday 3rd April. Tickets are priced at just £13.50 including booking fee and are available HERE

James Stevenson confirms Chelsea dates

James today has confirmed that he will be appearing with Chelsea when the band take to the road in March. The dates are...

However, James is not due to join the band when they play the Underworld in Camden on the 11th April.

"Putting The Metal To The Pedal : Cycling Route 66 with Love Hope and Strength" the book chronicling Lydia Franklins epic charity event which saw her cycle the length of America's famed Route 66 is now available to buy. The book can be purchased (or gifted!) on Kindle via Amazon for £3.44 (with the paperback coming within the next four weeks) or as a physical paperback directly from the publisher Lulu priced at £7.99 from the links below. Proceeds will go to LHS and both versions have a foreword by Mike Peters.

Putting the metal to the pedal is first of all a book about an idea that expanded into an incredible challenge of cycling 100 miles a day, 2400 miles in 24 days from Chicago to LA on Route 66 to raise money for Love Hope Strength Foundation. It took me through 8 different states and saw me battle exhaustion, headwinds, torrential rain, freezing cold and the occasional bout of homesickness.

The support and goodwill from family, friends and strangers made it a journey of a lifetime, raising £6500 and awareness of the work of Love Hope Strength Foundation.

Ultimately it is proof that in order to really live you have to let go of the fear...

Final Kirk Brandon / Dave Sharp date announced.

The final date to be announced on the Kirk Brandon and Dave Sharp tour is The Compass in Chester on Saturday 1st March.

Dave has said to expect a 45 minute spot for his sets on the tour.

Joe Silva mini movie on YouTube

Joe Silva has posted a short film on YouTube of when he played with Mike on the acoustic tour and the trials of getting to the sold out show at The Islington Academy in London.

The clip shows footage of Joe on stage both solo and with Mike and even of him meeting myself and Joff outside the venue as well as some familiar faces inside the venue itself!

Declaration release date

The brand new recording of "Declaration" featuring totally reworked new versions performed by Mike will be released on February 13th, 30 years to the day of the albums original release.

From those that have heard sneak peeks and the new arrangements performed by Mike and Smiley on the Friday night of The Gathering the vibe is that this will be stunning!
