New LHS charity single released!

"Don't Take Action" is a brand new download single available now from Reverbnation with all profits being donated to Love Hope Strength. What makes it more special is the fact it features both Smiley and James Stevenson alongside LHS volunteers Lydia Franklin and Steve Webster. Smiley handles drums, bass, guitar and piano, James provides lead and rhythm guitar, Lydia acoustic guitar and Steve vocals (he also sings in classic rock tribute band Reload). The wonderful Kerry (Q The Music) adds backing vocals.

Gathering dates announced!

Next years Gathering is now confirmed as being at Venue Cymru in Llandudno running from the 30th January to the 1st of February. Expect ticket announcements shortly!

Declaration comes to Norway

New Declaration dates have been announced for Norway where Mike will be playing a total of 8 dates in May.

Otley gets second date

The original Declaration date in Otley has now sold out but if you did miss it, or just fancy seeing a second show, an additional date has been added at Korks on Thursday 3rd April. Tickets are priced at just £13.50 including booking fee and are available HERE

"Putting The Metal To The Pedal : Cycling Route 66 with Love Hope and Strength" the book chronicling Lydia Franklins epic charity event which saw her cycle the length of America's famed Route 66 is now available to buy. Putting the metal to the pedal is first of all a book about an idea that expanded into an incredible challenge of cycling 100 miles a day, 2400 miles in 24 days from Chicago to LA on Route 66 to raise money for Love Hope Strength Foundation. It took me through 8 different states and saw me battle exhaustion, headwinds, torrential rain, freezing cold and the occasional bout of homesickness.

The support and goodwill from family, friends and strangers made it a journey of a lifetime, raising £6500 and awareness of the work of Love Hope Strength Foundation.

Ultimately it is proof that in order to really live you have to let go of the fear...
