Gathering 22 dated!

The Gathering 22 will be held on the 31st January and the 1st February 2014 with tickets and accommodation available from the official Alarm site from the 6th May.

Glen Matlock & The Philistines Festival date

Short notice but Glen Matlock & The Philistines will be appearing on a very strong bill for the Great British Alternative Music Festival held at Butlins Minehead at the end of this month. The 4 date festival kicks off on Friday the 26th April and runs through to Monday 29th and features The Fall, Ruts DC, Bad Manners, Selecter, Secret Affair, From The Jam, Ed Tudor Pole, The Beat, Anti-Nowhere League and The Men They Couldn't Hang amongst others.

Spear confirmed for Strummercamp!

Spear Of Destiny have been added to the Strummercamp Festival that is being held at Manchester Rugby Club across the weekend of the 24th - 26th May. Bands already confirmed for the festival include The Undertones, The Beat, Vice Squad, The Men They Couldn't Hang, The Neville Staples Band and The Three Johns. Spear will be playing on the Sunday.

Big Country reschedule London date!

Due to a rescheduling issue Big Country have been forced to change the date of their London gig. The NEW date is now the 2nd June and all tickets from the original concert on the 21st April remain valid.

The International Swingers hit San Francisco!

The International Swingers have announced that they will be playing the Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco on Thursday 30th May.

Chelsea Brighton date.

Chelsea have added a new date to their "Right To Work 2013" tour playing the Prince Albert in Brighton on 27th July. For those planning to attend the post code to locate it is BN1 4ED but please be aware that James may or may not be appearing on these dates due to commitments with The International Swingers who are due out on tour in July & August.

Big Country - Mike & Bruce radio appearance tonight!

Mike Peters and Bruce Watson will be on the Billy Sloan show on Clyde 2 tonight from 8 p.m. They will be discussing the new album "The Journey" which is available in stores from tomorrow and also the tour that starts at the end of the week.

The Mission round up!

In other Mission news the band have announced that they have signed to Brooklyn based indie label The End Records and will be entering the studio with producer David M Allen after the Bristol dates to start work on the brand new studio album.

There is no info as of yet on the planned release date for the album but they do start an American tour in September so it would make sense to be around that time....more news when we have confirmation.
