Kirk Brandon plays solo and Theatre Of Hate December dates.

Kirk Brandon will be playing 2 solo acoustic gigs towards the end of this month firstly at Islingtons O2 Academy as guest to The March Violets and then at the New Roscoe in Leeds on the 24th as headliner.

Theatre Of Hate will then go on a short tour in December (minus Craig who is on Mission/Blood Brothers duties). The dates are :

The Blood Brothers - the worlds best tribute to The Mission ;) will be playing an intimate gig at the Georgian Theatre in Stockton-On-Tees on Friday 13th of December.

Big Country to play Sunshine Music Festival

Big Country are advertised on the bill of the Sunshine Music Festival that will be held across the August Bank Holiday weekend next year in Upton upon Severn in Worcestershire. The band will play the main stage on a non specified day as of yet sharing the bill with an eclectic mix of names including Secret Affair, The Sweet, Marty Wilde and Showaddywaddy!

Electric River announced as RT-Zed support

Electric River have been added to the RT-Zed gig at 229 The Venue in London in December. You can check them out in this video clip and grab your tickets and get further info HERE

First Big Country date announced for 2014

Popping up on the See Tickets site tonight is news that Big Country will be playing in Fulham on March 20th of next year at Under The Bridge in Fulham Road SW6.

Mark Taylor will be performing an acoustic set with Brian James on Saturday 23rd November at the Fiddler's Elbow in London.

Spear Of Destiny - Bedford Esquires Friday 18th October 2013 (30 Years and Counting Tour)

I'd never been to Esquires in Bedford but given the chance to see the mighty Spear in a more intimate surrounding I couldn't miss it! How do you fit 30 years of brilliant and varied music into one evening? Well they managed it - ok there were some songs missing I would have liked (top of my list the awesome "Kalashnikov" from "Omega Point") and I was initially concerned there was no "Liberator" or "Mickey" on the set list but never fear they were saved for the encore!
